This Refund & Return Policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges work for our table lamps and floor lamps.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return within 14 days from the date your order was delivered.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and not installed

  • In their original condition

  • Returned with all original packaging, accessories, and components

We reserve the right to refuse returns if:

  • The item shows signs of use, damage, modification, or improper handling

  • The return request is made outside the 14-day return window, where permitted by law

Certain items may be non-returnable (for example, items marked as “final sale”). Any such exclusions will be clearly stated on the product page.


2. How to Start a Return

Step 1: Contact Us First

Please email us before sending anything back.

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason for the return


Step 2: Return Authorization

We will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with return instructions and a return authorization.

Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.


Step 3: Return Shipment

Approved returns must be sent to our Lys & Loom Returns Center.
The exact return address and instructions will be provided in your return confirmation email.

Please ensure the item is securely packaged.
You are responsible for providing valid tracking information and retaining proof of shipment.


3. Return Shipping Costs

Defective, damaged, or incorrect items

If your lamp arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs or offer an alternative solution (such as a replacement or partial refund), at our discretion.

Please contact us with clear photos and a description of the issue before returning any item.


All other returns

For returns due to change of mind or preference, you are responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable customs or handling fees charged by the carrier.

Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable unless required by law.


4. Exchanges

Exchanges may be available depending on product availability.

If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us at info@lysandloom.com before returning anything so we can confirm available options.

In some cases, placing a new order and returning the original item may be the fastest solution.


5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • The refund amount covers the product price, excluding non-refundable shipping fees (if applicable)

  • We may deduct an amount for any loss in value if the item is returned in a condition different from how it was sent, as permitted by law

Processing time

Please allow up to 14 business days from the date we receive your return to process your refund.

Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.


6. Items That Arrive Defective or Damaged

If your lamp arrives defective, damaged, or materially not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Where required by law, we may offer:

  • A replacement

  • A partial refund

  • A full refund upon return of the item

7. Chargebacks

If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us first at info@lysandloom.com before initiating a chargeback.

We aim to resolve concerns directly and fairly.
Unjustified chargebacks may be disputed with the relevant payment provider.


8. Your Legal Rights

This Refund & Return Policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable U.S. federal or state consumer protection laws.

If such laws grant you additional rights beyond what is described here, those rights remain fully applicable.
